The president proposes as a budget. So what? Bush has proposed a budget, and the obstructionist Democrats haven't acted on it yet. When they do, it won't be what Bush wanted. So who's fault is it? So who has control of spending? So who's responsible for the economy sucking? NOT THE PRESIDENT. When in this world does someone get all that they want? Its about compromising. And the president who's best at compromising probably ends up with the best budget that, in turn, results in the best possible economy. Clearly, we know who had that one together.
