07:29 ET Tyco widens internal inquiry on accounting practices-- WSJ (TYC) 12.90: The Wall Street Journal reports that TYC disclosed it has widened an existing internal inquiry to include a review of its past accounting practices, and said a continuing review of its accounting by the SEC had already caused it to "reclassify" some items; however, the co said it didn't have any reason to believe it needs to make any "material adjustments" to its past financial results.
