Paul, don't get me wrong. BEAS should NOT be downgraded, but I thought the same thing with ACF. While not the same situation, the analysts downgraded ACF even though the stock had a PE of 3 and a PE/G of .10! Yes, .10, meaning that EPS growth is 10 times the PE.

The earnings just announced showed 35% YOY growth and the stock was at $16 but they still downgraded it, even though they expect them to make $4.40 to 4.60 a share next year.

It has become very clear to many of us that if a firm (or firms) want(s) to get a stock down, they still have the power to do so. Believe it or not, people still listen to them.

KG is another stock that has killed earnings quarter after quarter and they still downgraded it after the earnings.
