Nice article. The MIT team did it right, but ultimately were responsible for a lot of enhanced security measures that makes life hard on the rest of us (counters), especially facial recognition (now used extensively by the Mirage and Bellagio, among others). The article pretty accurately tells what it's like, although the author is a bit overdramatic in his description of barrings.
