Your sense of entitlement is amazing. That's not conservative. It's right wing supremacy. No, not at all. The liberals have stopped us from developing our own oil. If we think our oil supply is going to be threatened by Saddam's actions (as with Kuwait), it is necessary that we protect our interests. I'm not suggesting we should steal Saddam's oil, or even force him to sell it to us. But we would have to intervene if he did anything that might cause us to have supply problems. This is the very reason that drilling in ANWR was a critical issue. The liberals don't seem to understand that their position on that very issue made war more likely. Unfortunately, a lot of times liberals don't tend to think things through very well...

Thinking it is ok for country A to use force to prevent country B from forcibly stopping (intimidating, taking over whatever) countries C and D to sell oil or anything else to country A, does not equate to the belief that A has some special entitlement to do whatever it wants or to have whatever it wants.
