Saddam would have to be a complete idiot to not be on alert right now. The same applies to the Israelis. But the fact is that "alerts" is not the same as war.

P.S. I've been reading all the Kurdish news, and all that's going on in Kurdistan is that the Kurds and Iranian backed Islamic Jihadi types are fighting. That hardly indicates any kind of united front getting ready to take down Saddam.

Since when is Israel on alert re: a Saddam nuke attack? If it was forthcoming, he'd be blasted to Kingdom Come.
