Thank you. "sassy sumbitch" sounds very nice. Been called

many things on message boards but never before that, hehe.

U.S. needs RADICAL economic measures. The crowd pulling W's strings is extremely unlikely to implement those. Heck; the congress rubber stamp, corporate asset will never have those.
So this whole mess will go on applying band aids to cancer sores. Uncle Sam is basically bankrupt. It can't even afford to go to the expense of deposing Saddam Hussein.

And the way overblown terrorist scare is now killing off the airlines, the lifeblood of the U.S. economy. I can't believe how the idiots played right into the terrorist hands. The last thing you do to counter them is turn into a police state. Endless security and check points and delays is murder for economic activity. The costs are staggering.

An important feature of a bankrupt society is the popular demand to get every problem fixed right away. And of course it's impossible.

Bring out more band aids - I guess.

The tariffs on imported lumber was the last straw for me on the declining interest I have for supporting the Republican Party. And I can't vote for a Dem so I'm outa the game. I guess I'll keep voting for Pat, write him in in the future.
