Oh, come now. Yeah, there was one protest 2,000 years ago, then it was back to business as usual. Ever hear of "Gott Mit Uns"? That was the German version of "God is on our side" that the English were using to rally the troops in WW1. In the American Civil War, both sides claimed the support of the Bible. The there the wars of the Reformation. Christians all, on both sides, happily slaughtering each other... in the name of God. And that's a small sample. You may believe what you wish, but history shows religion is one of the more important tools in the warmonger's chest.

I have always believed that Christ had to come down here to set forth an example that would rectify the craziness of the Old Testament which is full of revenge, fear and murder. The Old Testament depicts God as someone who will get even with you if you cross him!!!........ you amaze me at how ignorant you choose to be .
