Ted, what's the deal? Intel announces breakthrough technology to be employed on their next-generation process. But in your eyes, the announcement only amounts to PR and nothing more.

Not everything Intel announces is meant to counter Hammer hype, you know.

News Flash:

In an obvious Intel attempt to counted the overwhelming interest in Hammer, the Sun rose in the East this morning. Rumor has it that Intel is pulling out all stops to have the Sun set in the West. Desperation reigns.

Intel did not return calls at press time.

Ted,

Re: "Tenchusatsu, you're kidding, right?"

You've got to be "kidding" as well ... AMD is late on both their .13um
process and products. No clear plan for SOI on 300mm at .13um or beyond.
UMC slow on getting .13um bulk process up to high yields. Just where
is this "devastatingly" good news for AMD ... BTW, I left off all "wonderful"
financial results for AMD in Q3, Q4, and 2003.

Make It So,
Yousef
