Till now couldn't figure out why it made sense to spend money to read the only resulting difference from paid membership in the content of this board being my posts. However, from time to time I have wanted to ask a question, and while being able to discern the answer with a little reading, I thought joining up would provide for directness and help Silicon Investor keep up a site I use often. I'm sure I'll find additional values to membership. As anybody who reads my offerings will soon determine I'm a T/A kinda guy though I like it best when the "funnies," as I refer to the fundamentals, line up behind a good picture. Right now in Gold and the miners the story is better than the picture in many ways and that's always a good clue of being too early. HGMCY pictured below is a case in point. UP to the 50 day moving average as is Gold, rising on lighter volume than it falls…the DMI is flat as a pancake, STOS look like they have nearly finished a corrected reflex to an oversold position, and to keep hope alive the key in my book, The Ultimate Oss. is rising. HGMCY happens to be my largest miner position though the group at this time is being kept intentionally small and includes recent leader MDG and GLG. Is the S&P downgrade of brokerage debt and warnings about counterparty risk the opening line to the third act and what will kick off the break through of $318.32 on spot gold, which I see on the P&F chart as the next key print. Or will we continue to drift till the seasonal sets up at the end of August and aligns with Crawford's stars. Either way I am intend on maximizing the potential of the next move to my account's benefit while minimizing risk. We'll see how that pans out. Great to join your fine company. HGMCY Dailysiliconinvestor.com P.S. I was quite struck by the message #17371 by t4texas regarding the Iraq situation...I haven't seen it anywhere else. If it is fact descriptive of what's going on we're about to see some fireworks. Jims101
