Every philosophy, political platform, and religion ever invented claims it is really promoting The Greater Good. Name one that doesn't.

Nazism? Hitler was building the best that man could be, remember? A new superman who would guide the planet with his strength and wisdom.

There did seem to be a few glitches though.

Communism? They were out to build a bright future for the entire human species, based on a remodeled, retrained man who put into practice "Do unto others as yu would have them do unto you."

What's wrong with that?

Other than the countless tens of millions they murdered on the way, I mean.

But if Xianity gets a pass for all the bad it has done because it's heart is in the right place, why not Nazism? Why don't we welcome Emile Vidrine (RETCH!!!!) with open arms? Maybe Stalin and Mao were really good guys doing their best in a tough job.

"By their fruit ye shall know them."
Try that as your philosophy. I think you will get different results.
