I missed the "list" being referred to that Laz apparently posted. But, of course, I did not miss your point that the labelling is neither harmless nor respectable. My sarcasm was intending somewhat the same point by pointing out how ludicrous was the implication that the "liberal" educational institution is "contaminating" the minds of children with "liberal" tenets when, in fact, the "Republican" President's and voters have had an equal input into American Institutions, and have always been concerned with the education of all children, and care as much for their children as do "liberals".

It is all quite silly, and as you suggest, dismissive of critical opinion and honest debate.

Of course, it is "seditious" to criticise the President. It was seditious to criticize Hitler wasn't it? Don't we believe in a strong and unfettered central authority? The sugggestion that America should value "representative" democratic ideals is an intriguing one, however... :-(
