Control further risk first, and think later. Right on! The nimble thing to do was to buy QQQ calls and be prepared to give 'em up. So what if one burns a couple of commissions. This is not something that is clear in retrospect. This is something that should have been clear in the moment. I would hope that my threadmates would not just writeoff yesterday as a weird event from left-field, because I think there is a strong trading lesson there. It is one that I know, which is why I am the first to say: yesterday afternoon, I screwed up.
