I said nothing about trusting the 10K, I just offered a quote from what you might consider a more educated and credible source(the CFO of Intel) than you believe me to be. How you interpret that to mean I trust the rule-makers is a leap I can't quite follow. Intel 10K The existing models do not necessarily provide a reliable single measure of the fair value of employee stock options. Casaubon Also, this statement speaks to the inadequacies of the models. This is well known and accepted because, it's "good enough". Not being a reliable measure is not "good enough", at least by my standards. PS I rescind my harsh attitude since the exchange has taken on a more respectful discourse. There was no excuse for your harsh attitude in the first place, but I'm glad to see it's not continuing.
