If by determinism you mean the development of the world according to a set of physical rules governing the interaction of matter, devoid of intelligence or intentionality, such that there is no break in the chain of causality, then there is no novelty to my take on the matter, it is what philosophers ordinarily mean by determinism. If you mean by determinism an implicit Logos that guides the development of the universe according to a sort of plan, while eschewing any hint of personality, I have already said, many times, that that is sufficient for my purposes as a stand- in for God..........
