We have a bunch of conflicting reports on the economy. CNBC even did a piece on who to trust on the future of the economy. S&P suggested a double dip this morning. Some people credit The Conference Board's suggestion that there will be no double dip for the big rally today. I believe the yield provides the best clue as to what kind of economy we will have. Sure, the yield curve has been moving down in the last 3 months, prompting fear of a double dip. But the slop of the curve never did change. And that's the key. We are still looking at a positively sloping yield curve that suggest a fairly robust economy going forward. none.

Considering how tech stocks have acted in the last 2 months, this one doesn't look at all bad. Just broke above it's July highs today with a nice bump up in volume. The first higher high in a long time, for that matter, since January. none
