No, I'm honest enough to admit that our indulgent oil-rich lifestyle has led to the death of nearly 1,000,000 Iraqi children. Most Americans are either ignorant of this fact or are in denial over who is to blame for the deaths of Iraqi children. I know how U.S. foreign policy works. If Saddam was in Asia or in Africa, we wouldn't care what he was up to. It is the fact that he is in the middle of the oil-rich Middle East that has led us to impose sanctions which has brought misery and death to nearly a million Iraqis. I think this a matter that should concern all who profess to be "pro-life" in our country.
