Oracle Outsourcing offerings include Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing and Oracle Technology Outsourcing services. Traditionally, Oracle's software -- Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle9i Database and Oracle9i Application Server (Oracle9iAS) -- is shipped to customers on CDs, and it is each customer's responsibility to install the software in their data center. With Oracle Outsourcing, the software is installed at Oracle or the client's data center and managed and administered by Oracle experts. By outsourcing the management and administration of their Oracle software to Oracle, customers have reduced information technology (IT) costs by up to 50 percent, increased the resolution of software issues by up to 50 percent, eliminated lengthy software implementations, and increased productivity through better focus on core business competencies.

Bytemobile

Bytemobile, a global wireless optimization software and services company, recently purchased Oracle E-Business Outsourcing and went live with several Oracle E-Business Suite applications in six weeks. The company chose Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing for its single vendor solution.

"With Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing, we have Oracle's experienced and knowledgeable staff managing our applications, allowing our employees to focus on strategic corporate goals of developing high quality solutions for mobile network operators around the world," said Randy Stevens, corporate controller for Bytemobile. "As a small company without a large IT team or related infrastructure, this is very important to us as we're able to take advantage of the latest technology while removing the risks and costs associated with integrating disparate systems. We're also benefiting with a 360 degree view of our customers, helping us increase customer satisfaction and manage the growth of our business on a global scale."

About Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing

Initiated in 1999, Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing provides a fully integrated and complete set of e-business applications delivered as an outsourced service. With Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing, companies can completely automate their business in areas such as customer management, manufacturing, financials, and supply chain management. The Oracle experts host, monitor, administer, and maintain all of the Oracle software so businesses can focus on running their core business, not mundane IT administrative tasks. A leading IT market research firm, IDC, recently named Oracle a market leader in its 2002 enterprise application software service leadership grid, further demonstrating Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing's leadership position in the software services market.

About Oracle Technology Outsourcing

Announced in April 2002 and built on the success of Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing, Oracle Technology Outsourcing delivers the unbreakable Oracle9i Database and Oracle9i Application Server as outsourced services. Companies are responsible for managing their customer and third-party applications while the Oracle experts manage, maintain, service and support the database and application server.
