<<Going after all countries that harbor terrorists would also include Mexico and Canada from which many terrorists gain access to the US.>>

Since there are no Mexican or Canadian terrorists, that statement is more treasonous propaganda. The fact that it is more subtle than the treasonous rhetoric of Daschlegephardt and his anti-American henchmen doesn't justify it anymore than their own hostile drivel.

But then, treason is and always has been second nature to the lefties who infect this country and this thread. The difference since 911 is that now the entire public realizes it. When your source of power is lying and deceit, as it is with the Democratic party, there is no greater poison than transparency...

Huh? I think you are overstating the case.

"Even though I disagree with you"

Why won't you say why? I don't think you know. I feel that it is probably a well intentioned emotional response because you don't like war. This is only a guess, and nobody likes war.

"Are we safe now that the al queda has been taken out in Afghanistan"

We are SAFER now. Life is never completely safe, and cannot be made so imo. But we are definately safer now. If we had done nothing (as you seem to suggest) there would have been numerous follow up attacks. It's harder to attack when you are being attacked. Ask OBL.

"Going after all countries that harbor terrorists would also include Mexico and Canada from which many terrorists gain access to the US"

There are different degrees Karen. You are not suggesting these governments openly support terrorists are you? If they were (and they DEFINATELY are not imo) you can bet your butt we would be after them. They are right on our borders for God's sake. You do realize that we asked the Taliban for full cooperation, and they chose not to. Too bad for them. Also, I can't believe so many of the "compassionate" left are ok with regimes like the Taliban that blow up religious symbols of world importance and preach intollerence to a level that I (and most Americans) can barely even comprehend. You weigh their distaste for opium against throwing acid in the faces of women, not allowing women an education (or even to go outside with their faces showing), killing gays, jailing any religion other than their own, torturing people for petty theft, etc., etc., etc. Unbelievable to me.
