Goading the Germans into bombing London

Yeah, that is what I would call the "Long Fix."

When the Brits lost a plane, if the pilot bailed out, was often flying the next day. But if you were German, you became a POW for the duration.

It was the opposite in WWI. German tactics were to stay on their side of the trenchs. The Brits and French came over.

All this "Woulda, coulda, shoula," is fun.
