Have to see how it affects GDP. Its only one region. However, I have also seen a spate of good earnings reports in the past few days, even in tech. (e.g, Brocade). And inflation and interest rates remain low.

It's a self-serving lie when you don't give the whole story, which basically says, "Gee, if there's shrinkage in the future, there won't be growth in the future." (Duh...):
