Our troop commitment in Afghanistan has always been minimal. Locals have borne the brunt of the fighting. Many are believed to have relocated to Pakistan and might return if we simply left the area. I would not agree with you that the remaining cells pose no danger.

If Saddam had WMD he would use them. We need to act before he does.
