Thx 4fig - We could be discerning the shape very soon <g>

I am not very hot about that McKinsey report: boost PoG by jewelry by $40 and asking $4 to the industry?!? Can we call McKinsey Mr.10pc? LOL.

I am more interested in this part:
Just as important will be the development of new gold instruments to attract institutional investors. Pierre Lassonde, an old friend of Chris Thompson, jumped the gun at the Diggers ā€˜n’ Dealers conference in Australia last week by saying that such an instrument was being developed in the States . Thompson admits that this is true , but cannot say much about it as its development is at a sensitive stage with the SEC. He did make the point, however, that it would have to reach certain criteria for funds unable at the moment to contemplate investment in gold.

As someone said earlier, assume Calpers (and/or Fido and the others) would invest 5% of their assets in gold?
