FERC Will Proceed Monday With California Power-Refund Hearing

LOS ANGELES -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will hold a hearing Monday on whether generators should pay California up to $8.9 billion in refunds for electricity overcharges during the state's 2000-2001 power crisis, a FERC spokesman said Thursday.
