I am sorry to say that at one point I was greatly influenced by "Paul Erdman's Money Book." He (and I) were disastrously wrong. The advantage of discussing things on SI is that one's views are constantly challenged. I did not know at that time that Erdman has spent time in the pokey. It may be OK for Ghandi and Martin Luther King, but for people who are money gurus a jail term is not a good credential. Speaking of which, have you ever done any time? I have not, but that is just luck.
