Yes city fighting can be ugly. And I don't think the American people would stomach ideas like laying seige to the cities and starving them out, or just leveling the cities. If we do go to war it won't be with the total war where civilian casualtees are tolerated and the entire nation is focused on the objective above all other concerns and thats actually a good thing...
