The thing that bothers me is how groups like NORML have taken this issue on as one that can benefit man. It can make paper, books, shirts.......hell they act as if pot can make cars too. Their position is just as suspect as our lawmakers. People who want pot legalized don't want to be legal so they can wear a hemp shirt. They want to smoke dope!!! It bothers me that they use these other issues to cloak what their real desires are. Thats not to say that hemp couldn't do much of what they say in terms of paper etc. The problem is we have people on both sides of the issue using rhetoric to hide behind the truth. The truth is.......use of pot, beer, food, sex (well..lets leave sex out of this because I believe in its use early and often) to an extreme will not result in good things. That said....people have to make those choices - its called FREEDOM. We have a military that kills people to make sure we have Our FREEDOM. Since thats the case lets not allow the disinformation of "REFER MADNESS" or the "Pot can solve all the worlds problems" campaign cloud the issues. The issues are

responsibility and freedom

"""""Although as conservative as many I have to agree with the wild man on this one. If people want to smoke it they will. As we created the mob with prohibition we have created the Cartel's with our drug laws. Legalize it, regulate when and where and tax the shit out of it.""""

if it were that easy....I would agree to your suggestions. I don't think it harms anything other than your nuts...but some guys will even forfeit their nuts for a good high.....

I'm sure booze had killed many more. Of course it is legal, regulated, and taxed......(smart ass kicking in here)

THere is no simple solution....but I think that prison for usage is bullshit. But if you're packing 175 lbs of it.....throw away the key.

And as far as Cartels, Mercs might be the answer to that problem....and I'd be willing to pay more taxes for that.
