>>Yeah, and they hate us for it.<<

Maybe, maybe not. There are plenty of folks around the world who resent the success of the US, but there are still many places in Europe, even in Germany, where the old-timers have very warm feelings toward the US for the compassion and generosity shown by the US post-WWII.

I think that a growing problem for the US now is that a declining minority of people around the world remember WWII and the incredible courage and selflessness of the American people.

Hi Pezz, <<Yeah, and they hate us for it>> No, definitely not for democracy and capitalism, because that would be irrational. The record of 'bringing democracy and capitalism' is not free of blemish, and it may be starting once again down the wrong track

All eyes on November election, and the international electorates will be the final judge of the electoral outcome.

How so?

Because the people who immigrate here have drive and ambition and abilities. They have dreams. They are optimists, seeking something better for themselves and their families.

So many people who are born in the US think they are entitled to a handout, that they deserve special treatment because their ancestors were mistreated, or something.

The immigrants work hard and make something of themselves.

<<They make us a better place.>> How so?
By increasing the country's IQ, perhaps?
