If you are correct, and Dell gained unit market share at the expense of revenue share, then that's even more of a reason not to build systems around AMD's commoditized solution. I don't know why anyone would want to partner with a model that accelerates commoditization to compete with a gorilla of a competitor. Hammer, as powerful as it may be, is instant poison for OEMs invested in the high end.
