I read an article yesterday talking about how currently mutual fund cash levels are at extreme lows. Obviously they had to raise a lot during the period leading into the July low, the question is how much is left? I think there are going to be a lot of hedgies out there reading this report of continuing outflows that are going to smell blood and try to keep the market down. The buying by bullish hedgies, and asset reallocations going on among institutions is a phenomenon with a limited lifespan... if there is no further buying to support the market when they finish things may get ugly.

Anyone have some data on what outflows were like at other recent IT market lows?
