Morning PB:
My 6 days of trading went rather well, a lot of work but far better on the soul than holding a lot in equities.
The day will have to come when a person can again call some of them investments. Dont know when
These are the types of stock I will be looking at today
I am not buying the gold yet but am thinking gold can do well , having a secure min price plus potential gain
with unstable world economy
ALLY ANN BRCD GOLDX HGMCY IGT INVN ISLE JAH MNTGX NTAP NWRE RHAT SJM SNIC TSCO.
Have spent a lot of time thinking about how to locate the next Dell, but its very hard to find some of the important info like:
Family man
Middle class parents
Minimum college education.
5 to 10 year old corporation
Market cap 500 mm to 2 bil
Mass market product whose usefulness is increasing
Able to delegate
Top quality product
A product used every day, personal,
An able communicator with identifyable, consistant goal.
Does not buy other companies.?
Minimum company debt
Can inspire others
That Michael Dell is a true genius -just not in the common scientific way
I consider the family background very important, in learning values and getting oriented to "doing ones own thing" within the culture. ( some parents crush their kids)
Here I think about about the success of George Bush, the Kennedys, the 4 generations of military Mc Arthurs, movie stars, musicians, banker families.
Where the kids at early age learn the fundamentals of the profession and the rewards that go with success.
Enough of the soap box, back to work.
Sig
IMO the job here is to steal some stocks on the cheap<G>

Sounds like your full service guy was alot smarter then mine......she is a VP, to boot with one of the biggest houses.....and I tell you...she knows squat....her suggestions and opinions, have been crappola.....Like an idiot, I listened to her on a few that cost me huge dollars, when I wanted to do something else....I told myself "she's the expert....your paying for the advice...may as well follow it"......lord, she cost me alot....had I done what I wanted, I would have salvaged investements that ended up losing 100% ( 03 leaps, I wanted to cash in on when naz was still at 4800....close to $75k worth....now, every one is worthless....and when I suggested we bail and salvage $40k when everything was down, she actually talked me out of "selling for such a big loss" and being patient, and even said I should ADD....well, I didnt add, luckily...but didnt sell and salvage the $40k.....today, 100% worthless......and she wants to know why I transferred most of my funds to my other accounts??!!
