With that as a background, tonite CNBC news had a Rep. and a Briton and an Arab American on the program. The Rep., ever the diplomat, gave his explanation for why the Europeans were not with us on this matter.........he said the Europeans are children, and once again we are the adults. He then went on to point out that we saved Europe twice and they should be beholden to us. I thought the Briton would lose it big time.

Ted, I saw it. A sad display of stupidity and arrogance. The Briton slapped him around with ease. Did u watch Hardball with Gen Schwarzkopf and William Cohen?

Al, no but I saw your comments........it must have been very interesting. Its amazing the number of former high ranking Reps. who are starting to diss the attack on Iraq. Did you see when Reagan's ambassador to Iraq was on the tube? He totally dissed the administration's plans for Iraq. Obviously, the cabal isn't listening......probably they are hoping that people like them will go away.

What worries me is that even though its getting clearer and clearer that the American people don't want this military intervention, Bush, using the special powers granted to him after 9/11, will still go ahead with the attack anyway. I think things will be coming to a head fairly soon.

This is what happens when you get a president who didn't get the popular vote!
