They bungled their brief eight year opportunity, having to dig in to protect the most corrupt elected official in history. They failed to deliver the loot to the massive special interest groups who provide them with the zombies who both vote for them and fabricate votes in their favor. What's encouraging is that the left is not really fighting the Bush administration with this constant and unprecedented harassment. Rather they are fighting a desperate battle to continue to sell their fraud to their ignorant and greedy political base. They committed the unforgivable sin of losing the presidency, which they had promised their hords of sidewalk scum they could keep. The robbing of the public wealth for the juicing of that contituency has been minimized, even interdicted, for at least 4-and most likely 8-years as a minimum. Those narrow-minded and avaricious groups are engaged in looking elsewhere, unless they can be hypnotized into thinking that the Democrats are other than a lost cause. As a result, the capable Geobbels-like propaganda machine of Carville/Begala/Greenberg, with assistance from the dying left wing media, feed these millions of cretins a daily diet of tripe ranging from "Bush was not elected", "Blacks were 'disenfranchizated'", "Bush ruined 'Clinton's surpluses'", all the way to "The rest of the world hates Bush [actually, it's only the left wing press in other countries, but what do a bunch of ignorant Democrat zombies know], and THAT [wink] should TELL us SOMETHING". The encouraging part is that it's not working. The impeachment fix and 2000 vote fraud destroyed their credibility everywhere except with those greedy interest groups. The mass of the "undecided middle", who's apathy preserved Clinton at the last minute, had their eyes opened by 911, and will now be more careful for at least the next decade. Bottom, line: The presidency slipped away in 2000, and in 2002 and 2004 the Senate and House will become completely beyond reach. Yes, what you are hearing from the anti-humanity, anti-capitalist, anti-American left is not an attempt to point out Bush shortcomings, but their own political death rattle, as they slip back into their gutters for another era. They will make a small comeback when they usually do, after they have been forgotten, once again, as the danger to the republic that they are committed to being...
