Ok, i'll let you in on a secret......

About 5 years ago, i tripped over a website that listed EVERY Oil rig in the World, who owned it, who operated it, where it was, who it was contracted to, how long the contract had been in effect, and when the contract was to expire.

3.5 years ago, when Contracts were expiring, they were not being renewed because Oil was $10.00 a barrel or less.

Rigs were being stacked, folks were being layed off.

I made a database with all this info imported to it, and i found the companies that had the FEWEST contracts with short-term expiration in their contracts, then I searched the SEC and free edgar for info on ALL of those companies, looking mainly for those companies with the least amount of debt.

UTI was far and away the best one, MRL was up there, so I went with my top 8. 2.5 years ago, 7 of those 8 were the highest percentage returners of the 32 i had originally started working with, and the 8th one was 10th.

Alas, that website disappeared, or, I don't know where it is today, i've looked for it off and on, but have not found it yet.

I think I originally found it by just following links from different oil companies' website(s), but I don't remember which one, I have been to about all of them, and it just isn't around that I have found.

If you find it, let me know............. and have fun !
