Yep. And I think that Bush knows he needs Congressional approval. And I think he also knows he needs to make a better case and that reluctance of our allies to support us does not rule out the possibility that we might need to act....

This should be one war in which Congressional approval is needed. This isnt a case where immediate action (as in tomorrow) should be necessary. A couple of weeks of debate by Congress with Bush clearly laying out his case to the people should be a prerequisite for action.

Agree, but it isn't going to happen.

Bush will use the authority granted him to pursue Al Qaeda as a justification for the Iraq foray. He'll consult with Congress but will not submit it to a vote.

That makes TOO MUCH sense...So far Congress has NOT provided any legitimate debate. And The President and The NeoCons HAVE NOT made a strong case for going to war with Iraq. I have a hunch they're still looking around for some compelling evidence to try to justify a big, expensive military initiative.
