correction: Saudi lawsuit by WTC victims is $1.17 T
do I expect them to see anything?

yes !!! and produce a serious foreign policy problem

this is civil court, Scott (remember OJ case?)
do you think the jury will be sympathetic to Arab interest?
no
do you think Saudis will evacuate their entire US-tied fortunes?
no
do you think Saudis might repatriate some liquid funds?
yes, but nowhere near all
is there a case to make against the Saudi nation?
absolutely
does the case have to be real specific versus Saudi individuals?
probably, but maybe institutions will be enough, and certainly not as much as in a criminal case

this case will become part of the generally widening MOSAIC, nay TIDAL WAVE of lawsuits directed at NYCity and NYCity-related events (like the 9/11 WTC attack)

I FULLY EXPECT LAWSUITS BOTH TO CRIPPLE WALL STREET
AND TO CHASE SAUDIS OUT OF "OUR CAMP"

my buddy at work here from Pakistan is to do me a favor
his father and uncle live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
he will report back to me about Saudi intentions for repatriating their money from US financial markets and real estate markets
he is on the job right now sending emails
nice guy, bright guy, perfect English, a permanent resident
