Just a recommendation, and I don't want to stick my nose in your business, but I think that we are seeing the start of a major change in the trend for the SOX. I'd definitely keep that SMTC short on a short rope. The SOX was up this morning even before the Nasdaq turned green. There are a lot of reasons to be bullish on the semiconductor stocks right now. I would agree that they won't go straight up, but I don't think there will be a meaningful pullback until they rally more. I think that it is prudent to take short term gains into resistance, but shorting them right now is very dangerous. IMO. I sold some LSI, FLEX, and LSCC into resistance the other day and they promptly blew right through it.

Good luck with your short.
