And before you go off, I don't care that Clinton lied "under oath", the crime is the issue.

So, let's assume there is no "crime" (i.e., it is a civil trial, which it was).

People should be allowed to lie in civil trials at will? There is no crime, thus ALL lying is tolerable.

Your position concerning this matter is TOTALLY UNTENABLE when put under scrutiny. The argument is literally without basis. The argument that it was okay for Clinton to lie in a trial because it was about "sex" is nothing short of absurd when you apply reasoned thinking to the notion. This, of course, accounts for the weakness in your initial reply.

You can blow this thread off if you'd like -- it would be totally consistent with the way a liberal argues points (you can read about that in Ann Coulter's excellent book).
