She has my sympathies. Nothing worse, imo, than recurring infections. (ok some things are worse- but most of those things are deadly, but aside from those things...)

She must be so happy that the infection just quit.

Have you considered that your problem could be related to your new environs? New house and bed could combine for an imbalance. If so, it should correct itself over time.
