OT
tip,

Here is a update on my travels. In Chicagoland biz is realatively flat to up. A number of the shops had decent July's but now see August as compared to June which was flat. In Minn/Wisconson same thing.

July and August are typically weak periods in the PCB biz. The closing of a number of shops is starting to help the ones that are left. I still see another 3-5% of shops closing, two small and one large recently announced.

But I have picked up about 5 more quality leads for equipment this past week. I say these leads should close in the next 90 days. Additionally new technology we are developing should be worth about 50 units next year. One thing people need to remeber about tech, it that things eventually become obsolete and need to be replaced.

Jeff

PS, I hear that the shop your brother worked at will probably not close for sometime due to the costs to actually close it...

Financials are bouncing back up through resistance like it is not there. Fascinating. FNM, just one example among many, has no respect whatsoever on a trip that looks like it won't stall until $80.

BTW, this in no way is about anyone's trade in FNM. Seriusly, I find it fascinating.
