Joe Torre said that there is no way that there will be a strike.

None of these guys want to be out on the picket line with the anniversary of 9/11 coming. Owners don't want it, players don't want it and both sides realize how damaging it will be to the game.

They will work out an agreement.

Btw, A's and Angels are looking tough.
Yanks pitching looks bad. The worst it's been in years.
Even Mariano Rivera is struggling.

D-Backs and the Braves look tough, too. Shilling and Johnson are one incredible pair to have to beat in 7 games.
