I say forget about MCDT- who can take a company seriously with that name anyway, sheesh. But as for brocade and cisco, imo healthy competition between 2 strong players early on in the adoption cycle is the best thing to get a new tech space moving. I'm actually a little worried about the lack of competition in some software and comm areas. The best spaces (sql database, crm, erp) had 2 strong competitors early on. It creates buzz and moves things along. Eventually theres only one winner of course. L
