OT the home runs aren't the point. he would have finished his career #1 in RBIs and walks, and very well may have finished #1 in career OPS (on-base + slugging; key stat for run production) where he is today just behind Babe Ruth.

plus, you can't use 154 games seasons in your calcs. Williams was not the most durable of players and very rarely played more than 145 games.
