Any besides for late January? Second, if today is meaningless, then so were bullish readings on September 21 and July 19. I don't buy the expiry is meaningless argument.

The only comparable equity PC readings I can find in the last two years are January 23-24, 2002; April 18-20, 2001; and August 24-31, 2000 (was looking for one sub-.40 close and a second close just above .40). Edit - going back a bit further, there were some in July and early August 2000 too. maoxian.com
