Uh huh. No doubt a person such as Clinton, who could parse the word 'is' with a machete in order to deflect guilt, surely understood the value of perceptions vs reality when making such short term decisions.

amazing so few people caught this in the mid 90's. too worried about stock options.

I was unsure how they carried it out until your writings on the gold carry. then it made perfect sense.

but I think we owe GreenEggs&Ham some reprieve. his hands were tied. since 94 his sole function has been to facilitate the demand for the long bond. tough duty.
