Thanks, I agree. Its possible the "end of August" (rather than next Wednesday) story on CNet is AMD disinformation. They're trying to beat Intel's next release (2.67 or whatever).

OTOH, the "Dresden insider" is probably correct ("[production parts] should be available at the beginning of September") and there will only be trickle of parts available if the release is made next week or even the week after.
