Perhaps that is why there isn't a "wider sense of alarm" around the world..........PUBLICLY. I believe that there are smarter people around the world in some of the governments than the press. After all, right now, the "upcoming war" is simply the media beating the drums.....

Yes, some of the top officers in the Administration are talking about Iraq and the leadership of that country, but to date, the only people I have seen say "we are going to war" are the media.... Can you cite others????

But there does need to be a wider sense of alarm around the world than is present today. Scowcroft was adamant on that point. No one else, he said, agreed with us on this score.
