Re: V-bottom I think that the likelihood of a V-bottom is somewhat related to how overdone the drop was with respect to fundamentals. I am not confident enough in my understanding of fundamentals to judge, but it seems that we are not at that point yet. Of course, if it keeps dropping, at some point (October? later?) prices may be so obviously exaggerated on the down side that once a bounce starts it will just keep going and we'll end up w/a V-bottom..
