Hi RR, I am in the Berkshire mountains in Massachusetts. But they say its the hottest summer they ever had here. The last few days have been really muggy & hot. I miss New Mexico but in June & July there were so many fires--they had closed down the national forests in Santa Fe just to protect against a fire--and the air was apparently smoky anyway from Arizona and Colorado.

Anyway the one good thing about being in the Berkshires is I get to go back to NYC when I want--its about 3 hours away.

I am a little uneasy about all this 9/11 "memorial" stuff being planned, though. I don't want to revisit it, frankly, but the plans are already gearing up.
