Merryfield ... I'm always interested in this sort of thing, but it'll have to wait until I read all the stuff Kastel posted :) - anyway, thanks for posting.

Regards,
Frank P.

RE: Busby Report
wow, interesting stuff, I did not read everything yet, weather is too nice, but I put a shortcut on my desk.

It is actually nothing new, we knew that one of these years we will run out, of oil and gas, that's when the alternate Energysources are coming in.
Thanks for bringing it up !
Eva

Merryfield. After perusing Busby's report regarding the depletion of world oil supplies by mid 21st century, it occurred to me that the US/Allies presence in Afghanistan is one more step toward the establishment of U.S. military bases in the ME. Looks like they would like to establish another military base somewhere in the vicinity of Bhagdad. Alledging threats of terrorism cloak the incursion (occupation?) of US troops (and U.S.oil interests) on ME soil. Osama baby is going to be responsible for the U.S. (and the Allies, of course) occupation of the Middle East. What other excuse was there?
